Friends of the Forest,
A group of 25 "restorationists" were in LaBagh Woods today clear-cutting, burning, and herbiciding acres of formerly forested sections along Bryn Mawr. The habitat is gone, reduced to a charred barren area where we will no longer see the abundance of life that was once prevalent.
It's election time, when our elected and eager-to-be-elected officials may listen to their constituents more than ever. If you oppose this destruction, please take a moment to make your voice heard. Please contact as many of these officials and candidates as possible and let them know you oppose destruction of our unique and last urban forests.
