Dear civic leaders, members and friends,

North River Commission (NRC) invites you to join us for a special Membership Council meeting on Tuesday, February 3, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the 17th District Police Station in the Community Room - 4650 N. Pulaski Rd.

At our February meeting we ask you to come together and share your 2015 plans with other civics, with the NRC board of directors, and with staff. NRC will also share it's work plans for the year and discuss how we can support each other this year. Please send as many members from your organization as you like, and think about how your organization and members are engaged in your communities. Here are a few questions to consider in preparation for the meeting.

• How does your civic work to improve your schools and support your local school councils?
• How is your civic involved in enhancing your commercial district?
• What safety issues are impacting your community?
• How is your civic engaged in park improvements and recreational programs?
• What housing trends and new developments are happening in your neighborhood?

We encourage you to share this invitation with your fellow civic members and neighbors. All are welcome to attend.

Free parking is available across the street in 17th Police District parking lot.
